The 1990s is my favorite fashion decade by far, so I wanted to do the teenagers of that time justice. I focused on pulling inspiration from popular nerd culture of that time as well as fashion of real teens. For many of the DND characters, I looked at illustrations from DND books in the 80s and 90s. I think She Kills Monsters is a love letter to nerdy girls and how they come in all different shapes and styles. The show is so fun so I wanted to incorporate a lot of color to reflect that.
